The cleaning is hands down the number one most important part of the sealcoat process. If the surface isn't properly cleaned the sealer will not bond properly and will not last as long. Flaking sealcoat can cause issues with future sealing.
We fully power wash every driveway before sealing. We feel it is a must. It's nearly impossible to properly clean dirty asphalt with a broom and a blower alone.

We also use our own water
